Smoking
is not permitted indoors at Another Second Penny Inn.
We also do not allow the use
of candles or incense for the comfort and safety of all of our guests.
The
Denison
Room is located on the East side of the house and features a
queen-size
four poster bed, fireplace, and a spacious ensuite bath with jetted
clawfoot
tub. Your view overlooks the extensive fields and gardens
adjoining
the house. Tariff: $119 - $250, Multiple night
discounts
available. See "Rates" page for exact
room
costs.

The
Noyes
Room is the sunniest room in our house as it is located on the
Southeast
side. This room can be made up as either two twin beds or one
king
bed as the guest prefers. The Noyes Room
has a wonderful electric fireplace providing real heat and a
romantic,
flickering fire (and no worries about little pets getting
burnt!)
There is a private
bath adjacent to the room with a tub/shower
combination.
Guests are permitted to have their small or medium sized (under 40
pound) pets
accompany
them in this room (by advance arrangement, and subject to a $25
fee.)
Meet Julie.
The
Russell
Suite was originally a dance hall when Colonel Russell operated his
tavern in the house. It features what was once a "raisable" wall
which expanded the space for larger dances. The room
is
configured as a two room suite with ensuite jetted clawfoot
bath and
fireplace.
The front sitting room provides a terrific space for reading or
just
daydreaming or you may curl up in the bedroom and watch the flames
dance
in the fireplace. The daybed in the sitting room can
accommodate
one child (extra charge applies). The historic Road Church and
the
front gardens can be seen from the windows. Tariff: $119 -
$250, Multiple night discounts available. See "Rates"
page for exact room costs. (Note: the above picture shows the
summertime
arrangement of the furniture!)
Another Second Penny Inn features two large patios and extensive grounds. Guests are invited to smoke on the grounds or on the side (covered) patio. It is assumed that smoking guests will be considerate of other guests as well as mindful of the forested nature of the property. One might even catch innkeeper Jim outside enjoying a smoke.
